Grouse and Woodcock Hunts $225 per hunter

Hunt includes 3-4 hrs of hunting over trained bird dogs for grouse and woodcock in the Northwoods. We recommend bringing a set of glasses as we will be busting brush and also a good set of boots as the more ground we cover leads to more birds in the air. Guided grouse hunts include transportation in the field and bird processing.

Where we hunt

We hunt both private and public land depending on available forage and where we are seeing birds. Rusk, Sawyer, and Price counties have some of the healthiest grouse populations in Wisconsin. Ideal habitat, large tracts of huntable land, and high birds numbers make for an unforgettable day chasing thunder chickens!

Guided Duck Hunts and Goose Hunts

Guided Duck Hunts $200 per hunter

RBO is the only hunting guide in the area for waterfowl which means less pressure on the birds. We hunt both water and fields on our guided duck hunts and we harvest a variety of species but primarily shoot mallards, wood ducks, teal, and ringnecks. Blinds will vary but we often hunt from brush blinds to naturally blend in with the areas we hunt. We like to call them in tight to put the birds in your face and offer the best shooting opportunities. The limit for ducks is 6 and WI small game license, federal waterfowl stamp, and state waterfowl stamp is required to hunt.

Guided Goose Hunts $150 per hunter

Our guided goose hunts can be morning or afternoon hunts. We will setup our decoy spread the day of the hunt as we are constantly changing hunting locations to be on the birds. The limit during the regular season is 3 in the North Zone. Please make sure to have all necessary licenses before meeting your hunting guide the day of the hunt. Small game license, federal waterfowl stamp, state waterfowl stamp, and a state goose permit is required to hunt.

Cast n' Blast $600

The best of both worlds. Based out of Ladysmith our cast n' blast adventures are only available in fall and typically start in the middle of Sept and run through the end of season depending on weather. Includes a half day of guided hunting in the morning and a half day float trip in the afternoon for 1 or 2 hunter/anglers. Hunts can either be guided grouse hunts or guided duck hunts. We provide all the fishing and hunting gear for a day on the water or in the field except clothing, firearms, and ammo.
